FAQ

anything
Where are you located?
KR Cavoodles is located on a peaceful 55-acre property in rural New South Wales, between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. It’s a serene, private setting where our puppies grow up with plenty of space, fresh air, and love. The puppies also spend a great deal of time at my training facility in town so that they are exposed to normal town noises and events.
How do i collect my puppy?
Puppies can be collected in person at our training facility in town by appointment, or we can arrange delivery or pet transport within Australia. We work with reputable, caring transport companies to ensure your puppy’s trip is safe and stress-free. Please note: puppies won’t leave our care until full payment has cleared. Puppies have been successfully transported a wide variety of places from mid central QLD coast to many areas of Victoria and also to Adelaide. I prefer not to use flights to transport puppies.
On occasions I will personally deliver your pup to you or meet you at a mutually convenient place. Full payment is required before any transport commences.
How can I view the puppies?
I share regular video and photo updates via my Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube channels. In-person visits are by appointment only and typically offered closer to the pickup date. This helps me keep the puppies safe and maintain biosecurity on my property.
You can request as many live zoom video calls as you would like to select or meet the puppy.
Why You’ll Be Asked for a Zoom or FaceTime Call
Any reputable breeder today will ask for a video call before committing a puppy to you. Why?
- To protect the puppies: Scammers and puppy flippers are real, and breeders need to know who their pups are going to.
- Breeders need to be careful about providing exact location details. Pups do get stolen
- To give you transparency: You get to see the puppies, their environment, and meet the parent dogs.
- To build trust: A video call lets both sides feel confident this is the right match.
Why should it not be all about location & cost
Why Puppy Buyers Should Look Beyond Cost and Location
When searching for your perfect puppy, it’s tempting to start with the most obvious questions: “Where’s are you located?” and “How much is the puppy?”
But here’s the truth: those two factors are just the surface. Picking a breeder based only on price and convenience is like buying a house because the paint looks nice—you’re ignoring the foundations that actually matter.
As a responsible breeder I am not just selling you a puppy; I am shaping the next 10–15 years of your life. I need to ensure you and the pup are setup for success as the wrong one can leave you heartbroken and broke with endless vet bills and training problems.
So what should you really be asking when you reach out to a breeder?
The Questions Every Puppy Buyer Should Ask
- Health Testing
- Socialization and Early Training
- Breeding Practices
- Parent Dog Information
- Support and Aftercare
- References and Reputation

What questions will I be asking you?
Why Breeders Also Need to Ask You Questions
A good breeder isn’t just trying to sell a puppy—I am trying to match the right puppy to the right home. That’s why I will want to know things like:
- What’s your lifestyle like—busy family, retired couple, single professional?
- Do you already have pets?
- Are you looking for a certain temperament—energetic, calm, confident, cuddly?
- What are your long-term plans for training, grooming, and exercise?
This isn’t me being nosey—it’s about protecting precious pups. The process should feel like a two-way conversation, not a quick transaction.
I really want a Cavoodle but can't afford one

Do you have a waitlist or take deposits?
Yes! Our puppies are often reserved before they’re ready to go home. We recommend joining our waitlist early and placing a non-refundable deposit once you’ve chosen your pup to secure your spot.
Do you offer grooming advice?
Absolutely. As a certified groomer and trainer, I provide lifetime support including coat care routines, grooming tips, and advice on how to keep your Cavoodle looking and feeling their best.
Your puppy will receive a full professional groom before arrival.
Do you help with training and settling in?
Yes! I start training and socialisation from as early as 3–5 weeks of age. I’ll also give you tips for continuing toilet training, crate training, and basic commands. And I am always here to answer your questions down the track — you’re never on your own.
How do I know you are not a scammer?
At the end of the day you need to trust your critical thinking ability to determine if you think you are talking to a scammer or not. Look through everything on this website, my facebook page and youtube channel and ask yourself does a scammer put as much work into raising puppies as I do? Do they offer you as many guarantees and show as many photos and videos? Do you offer you many live zoom video chats and phone calls as I do? Do you offer and provide lifetime support?
